Our SPC community has had plenty of exciting news recently:

BIRTHS

Will Austin (SPC 2010-14), pictured,- and his partner welcomed a baby boy, Jidah Troy, on August 5.

Geoff Brodie (current staff -鈥� Director of Mission) and- wife Tess have welcomed their ninth child, a beautiful baby girl, Philippa May into the family. Geoff and Tess’ eldest child, John, is currently studying Year 12 and 乐播传媒视频’s College and is the College school captain.

Grafton Hand (SPC 1996-2001) and wife Lisa welcomed a son, Kobus Michael Hand, born August 28 at Royal Women’s Hospital, Melbourne.

Xavier Bourke (SPC 1997-2002) and wife Sarah have welcomed a daughter, Pippa Elizabeth, on August 15 at St John of God Hospital, in Ballarat. Xavier is the son of Helen Bourke (current staff).

Kate Carman (current staff) and husband Josh welcomed a baby boy, Henry Lucas, on July 20 at St John of God Hospital, Ballarat.

ENGAGEMENTS AND MARRIAGES

Andrew Dow (SPC 2000-05), son of Christine and Tim Dow, and Chrystal Fitzgerald were married on August 20, 2016 in a private ceremony.

Kieran Torpy (SPC 1999-2004) announced his engagement to Hayley Charles on August 12, 2016. Kieran is the son of Claire and Tony Torpy (SPC 1968-71).

Stephen Ronan (SPC 1998-2003) became engaged to Thelma Pereira Marcelo earlier this year. Stephen is the son of Julie and Noel Ronan (SPC 1971-76).

Rory Conroy (SPC 2007-2012) announced his engagement to Callie Phillips earlier this year. Rory is the son of Cathryn and Neil Conroy (SPC 1974-79).

Alex Walsh (SPC 1997-2002) and Kara Smith were engaged earlier this year.

Paul White (SPC 1991-96) married Faith Austin at Loreto Chapel, Ballarat on April 2, 2016.

Tom Mason (SPC 2005-08) and Molly Baxter were thrilled to announce their engagement on March 7, 2016.

Kyle Bennett (SPC 1998-03) married Vanessa Vermaas on March 5, 2016 at Sault Restaurant, Daylesford. Kyle was attended by best men Paul Mcaloon (SPC 1998-03), Ashley Davies (SPC 1998-03) and Ben Carrroll (SPC 1998-03). Kyle and Vanessa are building a new home in Ballarat.

Sam Montano (SPC 1997-01) and Claire Dickeson also announced their engagement earlier this year.
